About Me

I'm outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident. I live life with enthusiasm.

I like to meet people of different backgrounds and ages, and enjoy the idea that as the world becomes 'smaller' hopefully, it's citizens will be closer and more interested in other people's differences and be able to discuss and celebrate them, learn from and share with each other - rather than see the integration of other cultures as an invasion or an attack on their own.

I aim to be interesting and interested.

"If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you to become that." - Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe.

"The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only one page." - St. Augustine of Hippo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a young couple in Pittsburgh. It felt like a small risk, as it was the first one, but they were good people and we had a good time.

I then stayed with a young lady and her pet cat in Montreal, on my way through that city.

I have also stayed had various home stays when visiting friends. I once slept in a tipi, and a Japanese Girl taught me how to spin wool from the sheep we had sheared that morning!

In the future I would like to host people at my own home!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have lots of interests and skills, so I could help with any of those. The most unusual one though, is that I'm a magician (that's my job) so I could maybe teach you a pretty awesome card trick.
I love performing arts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my home if they want to come on a return visit, and I can share conversation, laughter and good times.
