I'm a laid back Nigerian-American Californian. I'm currently working for a social justice/health equity non-profit.
I'm adventurous, friendly, outgoing, spontaneous, well-read, well-traveled, athletic, funny (sometimes), etc. People like me damnit! jk =) I like to do anything and everything outside. Rock climbing, trekking, rafting, you name it and I'll try it! I like sleeping outside preferably in the sun. I don't like to go to bars just to drink...I need to be dancing. I love salsa, samba, etc. I'm terrible at tango. I'm always down to try something new and don't mind adventuring alone.
I don't know if I am the best conversationalist...I suppose it depends. I feed off of other people's energy. Sometimes I can be timid at first, but hopefully not awkward.

If you surf with me I'll do my best to entertain you or just give you a quiet place to rest your head. If I surf with you I'm pretty independent and don't expect too much from my hosts unless they are willing and able to do activities with me. I'm very neat as well.

Surf/host/meet up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed through East Africa in May 2011 with my friend from Germany. Couchsurfed in Munich 2012.
Met up with multiple CSers in Recife Brazil. Went camping with 18 CSers I'd never met 2012.
Have tried to host people in Ann Arbor but not many passerbyers.
I haven't hosted in LA because my roommates are not open to the idea unfortunately.

I LOVE books and poetry...and any recommendations you might have. I can't list all my favorites because I have a hard time deciding. Off the top of my head anything James Baldwin. bell hooks. Dostoevsky. Anything Hemingway. Faulkner. Anything existentialist. Nabakov. Can't seem to get through Borges. Reading the Communist Manifesto now and Pale Fire. Would like to learn more Latin American authors (besides Marquez)
