I’m Pak from Malaysia, film school graduate. My cousin who is working in Munich invited me to visit her, it seems like a good getaway to travel in Europe before I have a plan for the future.

I’m easy going but not very good in small talks, I’m better off surrounding myself with talkative people so it’s less awkward ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و . I’m usually listening, thinking, absorbing and filtering unnecessary details in my mind, and venturing into deep contemplation and conversation.

- Usually documentaries, independent films, or any good movies. My recent favourite is Good Will Hunting starring Matt Damon.

With one foot in Malaysia while another in Hong Kong during my childhood allows me to see things from a different perspective from that of my peers.

My interest in the exploration of Chinese identity in Southeast Asia (or Nanyang) has lead me to films, searching for the deep need for roots and self expression, individually or collectively.

I believe I can share my observations, understanding and judgements of topics revolving culture, politics, history and identity in my region :)
