About Me

Hi,

Writing about myself feels weird but here you go:
I'm 22-year-old student from around Stuttgart.
I've couch surfed a couple of times and it turned into a great experience each time... So I'd like to stay an active member of this community by going to meet ups etc..

I'll finish university in summer and plan to travel after that to Australia/USA/ Canada

At the moment, I sadly can't host couch surfers at my place!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy staying in hostels because you get a good mix of all kinds of people. But being invited into someones home is a different and more exciting experience.
I like to see how people live and why they live the way they do, you can tell a lot about a person by their home. While couchsurfing, I feel like I get an insight of another persons life. You can learn from experiences like that and get to see other persepectives on different parts of life.
I enjoy a good chat with people I just met; regardless if we chit chat about random stuff or discuss the meaning of life. When I'm not in a talkative mood I like to be by myself, listen to music and draw or write.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to any kind of music. Whenever I find a new song I like I think to myself: Why the hell haven't I discovered this earlier?

Music I Like: Milky Chance, AMK, The Beatles (Fav albums: Rubber Soul & Revolver), Arctic Monkeys, Radio Head, Cage The Elephant

Books:The Alchemist, Dubliners....

I enjoy going to concerts and festivals and am usually up for a drink somewhere. Since I study art history I'm always up to got to a museum.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had many great expericences through CS.
Thank you to my great hosts I met over time who showed me around, introduced me to friends and provided a place to stay for a night or two.
Meeting up with other travellers while on the road is great, my favourite CS meet up so far was in Amsterdam/ May 2019!
I also enjoyed to go to the CS meet ups when I lived in Dublin!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am down to cook for my host as a thank you ;)

I'm quite good at sitting in a dark pub and talk about the meaning of life with strangers.
