About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Surviving my twenties all in one piece
Moved to Asheville recently after an arduous life journey in Northern VA. If you have lived there you might know where I'm coming from. Asheville has always been on my radar and I'm happy to finally be making it my home.
I am fairly green in the roots of glass blowing. I worked for a gentleman in va where I was able to exchange work for bench time. I am forever grateful to him and that experience. Trying to get back into the swing of things down here!
I love everything taboo. Queer theory will do that to you. I am that person who will spit out random facts about psychological disorders or breeds of dogs. I've got eclectic interests. I dream about flying CONSTANTLY and I am working on perfecting my ability to lucid dream. So, I will probably tell you about some off the wall bat shit crazy dream that I've had at least once or twice-and persuade you to analyze it with me.
Sometimes I daydream about being a chef or opening a cafe. I learned to bake bread in January and I have started collecting cookbooks (donuts, veggie burgers, vegan meals, breads..)
I had the opportunity to study in Italy of Spring '11! Italy and everything Italian are one of my greatest passions.
PHILOSOPHY
You create the world you live in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's all about learning. I want to learn about you, your culture, your life. But, hopefully you want to learn about me as well.
I think the CS community is about reciprocity. It's all about teaching and learning about each other.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
All of my experiences except for one have been positive and exciting..but overall, I love the community!
Learning about another person is one of the best things in this world. Reciprocity.
I spent 6 months in Europe, Spring/Summer 2011. Two of those months were spent couchsurfing :) I am very familiar with the lifestyle.
