About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover something new every day

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ana. I'm a loveable, excitable, passionate, enthusiastic person who loves adventures! Who knows what I'll end up doing in the far away future, I've got plenty of time to figure it out! I love laughing and the summer. Stories, good books, cold lemonade, outdoor concerts, late nights with good friends and tasty treats.

PHILOSOPHY

Laughing will bring us together, and an open mind will keep us together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't ever surfed before, but I'm so excited to try! I absolutely agree with the whole philosophy of it. I think it's a great way to meet new people, have a great time in a different place, and save money - how could I ask for anything else??

Interests

Right now I'm studying Child Development at my college; I'm very interested in social issues and how we can try to fix them- especially kid-centered issues. I also love exploring new places, being outside, eating delicious food at quirky restaurants and going to concerts (and of course dancing!). In the summer, a lot of my time is spent avoiding my inevitable sunburns and the winter brings lots of wool socks. Also.......cooking, biking, theater (children's theater and improv especially), tea, traveling, comedy, and movies

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything and everything funny. Boyhood is a favorite, I also love Wes Anderson! Favorite music......Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, the Head and the Heart, The Lumineers, Rodrigo y Gabriela. I love reading all types of books, some favorites: Bossypants (Tina Fey), A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, and most things by John Irving

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to the Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch in Phoenix, AZ. Is there anywhere else where you can find goats, ducks, donkeys, ostriches, parakeets, giant turtles, and deer in the same place?!! (Other than a zoo...)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: how to make a mean chili
Learn: French? Cooking? Travel ideas
Share: music and books! I love learning about new artists/authors

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
