About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission? what's that about. how can a human have a mission. Your mission is to stay alive and have fun aint it?

ABOUT ME

If I can only just manage to fill my yard with chicks and turkeys and geese, and ducks for the town to see and hear, squawking just as noisily as they can, and each "pa-pa-geeee! pa-pa-gaack! pa-pa-geeee! pa-pa-gaack! would land like a trumpet on the ear, as if to say, "hear lives a wealthy man" OY!

PHILOSOPHY

If I had money I'd buy me a banjo

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have limited couch surfing experience. I have hosted, which was most cool and very enjoyable. Even though we are all from the same planet it is those little differences which makes us all unique in our own way. These little differences I find awesome. I can sit down and listen to you till the cows come home!!

Interests

I am most interested in the Big Man. GOD. Do you really think an entity so powerful and so almighty and so mind blowingly perfect would ever let you understand it? Our humble small human brains and imagination could never come near a fraction of seeing inside the creation of everything. Our very existence is a mere speck of dust on the mantlepiece of creation. It can be blown away in an instance. To understand God would destroy the very object reality of life itself. Jesus Christ, Elisha, Zecharia, Muhammad, Licius of Cyrene and here's to you Ahab. All we can do is love and hope and dream.

Music, Movies, and Books

In Search Of Schrodinger's Cat. tells the story of quantum mechanics, not so heavy, more chaos than theory.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done is tell you your name is the most gorgeous sound you will ever hear..... Now that's my speech, not bad hey? The Sermon on the Mount by Jesus of Nazareth was a little better. In fact probably the best ever speech ever, full stop. However I find Mr King is the top of the pops when it comes to speeches....I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the South. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring."

Teach, Learn, Share

How many people on our planet can honestly say that they are proactive against climate change? When was the last time you left the car at home in favour of public transport? We all travel, therefore we pollute. We take vacations, therefore we pollute. We enjoy fast food and cheap disposable razors, therefore we pollute. We use electric garment drying machines and ice making facilities. We encourage intensive farming and sweat shops in the quest to buy the cheapest possible pint of milk, the cheapest DVD player, and that much needed 50 inch High Definition televison. I want to eat one of the 11 billion tonnes of eggs produced in China. I want to eat Greek Cheese and an Orange from California. I want a Sat Nav from Japan. I want a Canoe from Canada. I want, I want , I want. In our desire to have everything we reach for the ultimate possession: Planet Earth. And when we've finished with it? We can just throw it away into the recycling bin marked 'mankind'
