About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To eat my way through the Christmas fairs in Germany, bake my ass on any beach on the Mediterranean, and cross the Atlantic to try to win $100 with just $5 in Vegas

ABOUT ME

People say I have a misplaced sense of humour. Friends are more forthright by saying its sometimes kinda lame. Well I say, better to have any sense of humour than none at all. Incurable curiousity to see everything there is to see in this world.

Trying very, VERY hard to remind myself every day that there is more to life than 14-hour work days.

The best way to become instant friends is to feed me chocolate.

Music, Movies, and Books

I USED to read my textbooks all the time. Can't help it. I'm a nerd. Asians generally are. A fan of dry periodicals like Economist to spy fiction like Colin Forbes's whole series. Recently read "The World Is Flat" & "Three Billion New Capitalists."
Generally watch all major American movies (thanks alot globalization)
I'm more a fan of good songs rather than a fan of the singer. But if I were to name a few, it would be Keith Urban, Josh Groban, Rascal Flatts, Bryan Adams. Current theme song right now would be 'Forever Young'. I know.. so 80s !! Was only just born then but heck.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Maybe abseiling down an almost 90-degree inclined cliff on the coast of Pangkor.

Or maybe the recent cross-country road trip in my own country, driving 1600 km across little towns, beaches, mountain ranges.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can give travel tips for anyone wanting to backpack/travel in Malaysia.. to avoid getting ripped off, and basically get the best out of your trip here..
Melaka's my hometown, so I know it inside out.. pretty historical place if you did pay attention in your history classes.. it used to be called malacca..
Asia can be headache with all its 3rd world crime, where even cabbies practice daylight robbery (Scaring you yet?!) but still, it has awesome sights.. angkor wat, phuket.. to name a few, and wats more.. cheap food.. haha..

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
