Hi!
I'm 25 years old from Denmark. I'm a very positive guy with an open mind both regarding people, cultures and ideas. I love meeting new people, and generally find it easy to socialize with strangers. I'm well-groomed, and I always clean up after myself.

I would describe my self as a "Jack of all trades, but a master of none". Meaning that I know a lot about a whole bunch of different subjects, but I never go to deep into a subject before it loses my interest - I guess it's one of the side effect of the information overload the internet provides! ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find some interesting people, and to learn cultures in the countries I'm visiting from locals instead of a boring tourist guide.

Interests

IT - I really love the whole aspect of the empowerment the internet and technology provides. Both in terms of self-education and the way it provides a bridge between cultures, ideas and people from all over the world. (Besides North Korea I guess)

Politics & activism - I'm generally pretty much against a lot of the oppression and dis-empowerment the governments and politicians are a representation for. I'm an advocate for equal human rights no matter ethnicity, religion or gender. In 2012 I started an internet-freedom movement against a trade agreement called ACTA between EU & USA, and the movement won a prize as the best grassroot movement in Denmark in 2012.

Bitcoin - I've been interested in Bitcoin since 2011, and runs my own little mining operation. Very geeky stuff indeed- but none of the less a technology I really believe will change the world for the better, especially for "the unbanked" around the world.

Permaculture - I'm really into the idea of ecological and sustainable building and growing of plants and vegetables.

Skateboarding - Something I do occasionally when I hang out with friends in the summertime. Not a pro by any means, just riding for fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A loooot! Pretty much every genre besides opera. I really enjoy listening to mixes between genres - such as the Danish group "Den Sorte Skole", which mixes everything from classic music, R&B, old school hiphop, African tribal music into a single one track CD.

But it really depends on your interest, but I love sharing knowledge and teaching people what I know. Just as well as I love learning new things. I love to cook as well, and could easily trow some danish dish together!
