Overview
About Me
I just graduated from business school, and have been working on my startup in the fields of technology and health/wellness. I split my time between New York and Shanghai. In my spare time, I jog, meditate, swim, make delicious food, mostly plants. I have a cat living in the east coast and her name is Chairman Meow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was born and grew up in China. As the only child, I never grew up lonely. There was always one guest or two staying with us in the spare bedroom - my cousins, or classmates who lived far away from campus. My parents' generosity not only enriched my childhood experience, but also made me believe in the kindness of other human beings. I always enjoy hosting people, whenever I have a place of my own; even when I don't, I co-host other things - cocktail or green smoothie party, planted-based brunch, friendsgiving dinner, movie night in PJs, cooking workshop, DIY workout session....
For the last few months since graduation, I have been working on my startup without external fundings, while surfing couches from one city to another, thanks to my wonderful friends. I have never been to many of the cities that I plan to visit, and that's precisely why I want to CouchSurf - to explore the city through my hosts' perspectives, as I would already know that he/she is interesting, worldly, open-minded, and generous.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quit my corporate law career in NYC, and went back to rural China to raise happier pigs. Life is too short to live other people's dreams.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you basic Chinese, make delicious raw food and smoothies, and listen to your stories if you are willing to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a student of life. Over the years, I've been humbled by my experiences, from which I draw important lessons of life. Besides my life stories/lessons, I can probably guide you through a meditation and make some good tea that I brought from home.
