ABOUT ME

I am from California, and am a current student of UC Davis. I have been studying in Cordoba, Spain since February and traveling since January.I love to travel. I love meeting new people. I love experiencing new things. Traveling has filled me with so much insight, experience, fun, knowledge, and vigor and I feel like I will never sit still. I strongly believe that something can be learned from everyone and everything. I love human interaction and participation in human interaction. I love nature in all forms- being outdoors, in the sun, in the trees, in the mountains, on the beach. I love being active, mentally or physically. I love music, expression in any form, art in any form, wine, film, and good coversation...I would love to return to spain or south america to teach english, or join the peace corps in the near future :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am a fairly open, porous individual. I love to connect in any way I can with those around me, because I feel like we can all share and learn from each other in some way. I am constantly learning, and I don't think that will ever change. I love to challenge myself and push myself harder and further in all matters in life, I don't believe in limits.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience has been something I will cherish and never forget. I have met some incredible people who totally opened up their homes, trusted me completely, and treated me like a good friend from the moment we met. They have inspired me to pursue my loves and endeavors and to think outside of the rigid structure of (american) society. I am so grateful I had the chance to meet them, share many talks and laughs, meals and drinks, and great company. I highly recommend couchsurfing to anyone open hearted and open minded and everyone else in between, cause hopefully they'll learn a thing or two.

兴趣

music is essential. cooking and creating are close seconds. i love dreams!, i love to spend time thinking, observing, breathing, not exerting. i love the brain, neuroscience, yoga, the universe, reading, engorging myself with history, philosophy, politics, ethics, and psychology. i need to be in open air, i need surrounding nature, i need the ocean. i love riding bikes, sleeping in the sun, open fields, parks, grass, wine, vegetarian food, kitties, cooking, movies, basketball, laughing, living.....

i love reading and watching films, i need to actually do more of it because being a student has not left me with much "free" time... i like to read lots of stuff- anything science related about the brain, health, and nutrition. i love sci fi books. i love salinger and bukowski and richard brautigan and allen ginsberg and sylvia plath and graphic novels by the likes of charles burns and i'll basically read anything i can get my hands on. i like movies. trust me. there are too many good ones to name. but i'll just say that i am an avid fan of lord of the rings and star wars, among many others.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

all of my travels have led me to amazing, astounding, beautiful places and I am so grateful I have had the chance to experience so much. I love the mediterranean: Naples, Greek Islands, Ibiza.... just incredibly unbelievably beautiful. I love Spain, the entire country, I think is possibly the most vibrant, beautiful, dynamic and interesting country I have ever visited.
