ABOUT ME

Let's see.. I'm very spontaneous, transparent, and I put 100% of my effort into everything I do. I love ice skating, traveling, and anything having to do with water or music, in addition to everything I do with my company. I'm a bit of a workaholic but only because I love what I do. I travel very extensively throughout Latin America and the US, but always try to take a day or two everywhere I go to get to know the local people, customs and culture. I would much rather be in a place where there are no tourists for 500 km all around me, doing exactly the same thing the local people enjoy, than be in a plastic all-inclusive beach resort that reminds you of Vegas... ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hate being a typical "tourist" and staying in a hotel.. I love people too much! And I love to get the inside scoop from people who actually live in the place, and make new friends in the process. Also I have had the opportunity to host several people and show them Santiago and Viña del Mar, Chile, which has been a wonderful experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed all these places, but I have been there!! :) Was so excited to finally go to Asia and the Middle East this year!

Movies: Slumdog Millionaire, Más Allá de los Sueños (Robin Williams), Avatar, the Twilight series, Pursuit of Happyness, 3 Idiots, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, lots of other Bollywood movies.

Books: Soul of Leadership and really nearly everything else Deepak Chopra's written, Blink (Malcolm Gladwell), and many others along those lines. I love to read!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-My absolute favorite memory was 4-wheeling along the beach in Acapulco a dune buggy with my little brother and picking up coconuts along the way.

-The two most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life are the islands of San Blas in Panama, and Semuc Champey in Guatemala.

-Playing freely with the Monkeys at Monkey Lodge, Panama was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

-I absolutely loved scuba diving... Looking up and seeing the bubbles floating up to the sun above you is priceless.

-One of my favorite places in the world is Assisi, Italy. The peace I felt there was incredible.
