About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission, interesting question, I guess give thanks to the CS community and try to give back as much as I receive
ABOUT ME
I am German but was born in Bogota, Colombia. My goal in life has always been to make my dreams come true. So far so good and my newest adventure is: Bogota. I got a place to stay by now but still need some luck to get a job unless I decide to switch from being a banker to being a teacher o,)) Life is full of surprises so who knows what is lurking around the corner ... Now working as a teacher and translator and loving it!
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live.
Carpe Diem!
Make your dreams come true!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To get started here, it was perfect and the people I met in the first year here in Bogota turned into wonderful friends. However, I have noticed that things have changed here in the CS Bogota community a lot since I first joined, not everyone lives by the ideals of CS but tend to use it more as a "meat market" which is unfortunate.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just had my first CS experience and it was wonderful. I sure hope to make more use of it and once I am in a situation where I can offer a coach I will certainly do so.
Interests
I am interested in meeting new people, making new friendships, learning more about other cultures and countries. I am interested in people showing or telling me more about Colombia in general and Bogota specifially; to know more about my birth country o,))

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to salsa, merengue etc. makes me want to dance and cheers me up. Some nice jazz over brunch gives a nice relaxing note and some metal to get rid of a REALLY bad mood (for example with something like "Get the fuck out" from Skid Row; luckily for my flatmates that hardly ever happens o,))
I am a book worm and if I have time I can finish a book in hours o,)) I like easy reading for the beach, novels when sitting in public transport and stuff like "Emotional Intelligence" to keep me thinking.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazed at what a reaction a heartfelt smile can get you.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always open to meet people and converse in German, English, Dutch and Spanish.
What one can learn from me is that a positive attitude gets you far in life!
