About Me

ABOUT ME

I see myself as easygoing, good listener and open minded person. Love to talk sports being a huge Redskins fan. Came to the states after living in S. Korea for about 10 years. With not much interest in school work, I found interest in computer graphics and ended up in New York City. Currently work for a small firm specializing in DVDs. Living in NYC provided me with lot of opportunities and was fourtunate enough to leave work to really explore for the first time in my life. I get excited with even the thought of travelling to new places and hope to hear many stories from travellers. My ultimate goal is one day to purchase round the world ticket and visit many places as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

"Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify." ~Henry David Thoreau

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Aspiring to become a nomad, I don't have much interest on doing tourist activities. Plus, I have a really bad sense of direction and feel this is the best way to travel. I always try to find ways to cut costs without sacrificing the quality of the trip. Think inexpensive, NOT cheap.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This will be my first time, but known about couchsurfing 3 years ago while travelling New Zealand. My mate from Austria was telling me how great it was to meet
like minded people. Thinking back, I should of tried instead of staying at hostels all the time.

Interests

Redskins, biking, bowling, Scuba diving, snowboarding, tennis... I'm very open to any new experience and that keeps me motivated.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film. Cinderella Man, Remember the Titans, The Blind Side, Garden State

Book. non-fiction books (especially books relating to sports) The Blind Side, Open by Andre Agassi, It's not about the bike.

Music. Any type of music, but grew up listening to lot of Green Day, U2, Live and Michel Jackson.
Matter of fact, the first cassette I bought in the states was Michael Jackson and singing along like a silly boy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done. Hiked the Tongariro Crossing twice! Winter & Summer. Must say winter is gazillion times better because of the beautiful scenery. Make sure to take ton of sunblock or you will fry at the summit.

Seen. January 14th, 2006. I flew to Seattle with my sister to watch the Redskins in
the playoffs. The game Joe Gibbs coached.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Taiwan, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
