Hi my name is Sung-Yong from Korea. I grew up in Seoul and I had been in New York for 5 years. I studied sculpture and now I am working freelance for art fabrication studios and making my art works. I like to challenge something like going new place and doing extreme sport . I think people is the most important value of my life. so I wanna meet various people and make precious memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like to do backpack travel, but when I took a trip to other country, I really wanted to meet and hang out with local people. but it was really difficult to make chance to make local friends. one of my friends recommended Couchsurfing for travel and making friends. I wanna exchange culture with people who is from different country and culture through Couchsurfing

when I lived in New York for 5 years, I worked with a lot of artists and designers. one of impressive my experiences was making crazy costumes for super stars like Beyonce, Will I Am, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. I didn't study fashion but Asher Levine who is Fashion designer liked to mix fashion with sculpture to make unordinary clothes. it were really great experiences and unforgettable memories in my life
