Embracing the digital nomad life as a UX/Product designer and conference MC/Host/Speaker.

I grew up travelling between the UK and US so moving about is in my nature. My accent fluctuates somewhere between English and American.

I enjoy cooking when I can and love to create new dishes as well as cook super simple too. Breakfasts are my forte.

If I get my hands on a BBQ then I’m in my element. I was briefly on a BBQ competition team once. Plenty of stories on that one. Grew up cooking on BBQs and love it. Even cooked breakfast and desserts on BBQ.

I'm a super social person, and love learning from others. I guess for me because I've lived elsewhere and moved around a bit I really enjoy meeting people with similar mindsets. People on CS are awesome! I've used the hangouts feature quite a bit when travelling and have had so much fun with people. When I travel it's not the sights and sounds I'm interested in but I really want to meet the people, hear stories, really get to know people, and create an international group of friends and awesome people :)

Música, películas y libros

Music - basically anything with a beat or I can sing to. Even phonetically learned other language songs to sing.

Movies - Anything not based on our reality. Basically sci-fi, action, comedy, fantasy, etc. Old school 80s classics too. There are way too many to name here but some of my favourites are Back to the Future, V for Vendetta, Iron Man, Blazing Saddles, Love Actually, and The Boon Dock Saints.

Books - I enjoy reading a mix of different books here’s some: The Pathless Path, Ready Player One, Armada, The Martian, Design of Everyday Things, Essentialism, In Search of Schrodingers Cat, Relativity, Everything that Remains, and a Biography of Dan Eldon.

I'd love to teach and learn BBQ from other cultures. Cooking with fire is so primal, there's not much involved but every culture has different techniques. Super interested in learning more and sharing my own. This goes for cooking in general too.
