About Me

Hello, I suck at presenting myself, but I'll do my best. I am a relatively young human being living in a relatively small town in northern Italy. I love travelling more than anything else. I love meeting new people. I believe there are amazing people out there and I'll do my best to make sure to have a great time with everyone. Life is good when if you have the right attitude and are lucky enough to avoid anything terrible happening to you. Well, that doesn't sound really great. But it's great, life is great. Life is great when it doesn't suck. I hope when I stop being a student living the cheap vida loca I will have my own place and I could host travelers.
I am living in Oregon until June and if you want to teach me stuff about American and local culture I am more than willing to listen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like travelling and I'd like to hang out with new people and meet new friends when I explore new places. Moreover, I don't have much money and I don't like hotels (where you don't meet anyone that want to socialize with you), so Couchsurfing seems to me a fantastic thing! Only locals know the incredible secrets their town hides. Damn I love secrets.

Interests

I love drama. I am a crappy amateurish actor but I enjoy it. I like biking, even though lately I was too lazy. I speak on a local radio, nothing big but it's great fun. And I like reading, a lot. I am really interested in politics and history. I know speaking about politics it's usually pretty controversial, but I believe only talking to each other people can heal the damage made by the divisive and toxic political debate of the last years. I like other things I guess, I am just too tired to remember.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Isaac Asimov. It's not science fiction, it's genius. Also Orwell it's pretty nice writer, isn't, he? Others I live to read are Noam Chomsky, Agatha Christie, Christopher Hitchens, Ernest Hemingway and Aldous Huxley. Those are the last ones I read, I don't have time to remember everything I liked.
I listen to indie music, mostly Italian. I actually listen to kinda everything, I am completely open to new music.
I like directors like Coen, Tarantino, Scorsese, Von Trier and Kubrick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Denmark one year as an exchange student. I know it's not really high in the scale of amazingness, but I am young and confident I have time to do a lot of stuff. I also hitchhiked from Venice to Poland once.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach something about Italian culture. We are nice people, a little weird sometimes, but it's fun. I consider myself a decent learner. If you have something really cool to teach I beg you to do it. I can share interesting stories, some goodies from Italy (if I have some with me) and a good attitude and quality time. If you thing "sharing good attitude and quality time" it's actually a pretty lame thing to say, I hope to have wine with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring a little gift from Italy or I can prepare some food! I can also help with housework. If you want to know someone, cook with him. Trust me, it works.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland
