ABOUT ME

Hi I am an Indian and my wife is a Japanese currently residing in Wayanad. . We cycled from Thailand to Portugal for 2 years through the kindness of people and we want to give back now.

Hi I am Japanese and my husband is Indian:-) I lived in London for 20 years and joined Sunil in Hyderabad last year. My passion is traveling , food and meeting new friend. I had taught Japanese in UK but now I am enjoying my long long holiday.

PHILOSOPHY

Achievement of my happiness is the only moral purpose of my life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of my moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of my loyalty to the achievement of your values.. If i can travel to a destination tomorrow then why not today? (Sunil)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have very good experiances as i have couchsurfed in India, Thailand, lao and Vietnam, Egypt... etc (Sunil)

I haven't couchsurfed myself but me and Sunil love meeting new people from different countries and getting inspired. We also would love to learn cooking if the guests love to cook. We hosted lovely guests through this site so far and we have been thoroughly enjoying the experience. (Yuka)

Traveling, eating, cooking, cycling. I enjoy learning Kathak dance, Hindustani vocal and bansuri. I love learning learning new languages , new musical instruments and any dance. I also enjoy going to the galleries, theatres and concerts. (Yuka)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - The Cindrella Man, Billion dollar baby, 7 years in tibet, ..etc
Books - Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, life of pi, kite runner, thousand splinded suns.. the list is very huge (Sunil)

I love Jazz, Latin music (including salsa, boa nova and tango) and classical music. I also love Indian classical music and film music.

I love old and new French, Iranian, Italian, Chinese, Spanish films and Indian films. There are lots of films I love and cannot name it. I also love Hitchcock fim especially his short film collections.

I enjoy reading book by William Boyd, Iris Murdoch, Amitab Ghosh, Jhumpa Lahiri, Haruki Murakami etc. This couple of years, I read many books by Indian authors and I love reading them. I love the Historical books as well. I am reading "Nine lives" by William Dalrymple at the moment.

I love going to see the modern dance and Indian dance. My top five dance company I saw recently were Mark Morris, Akram Khan, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Ballet Framenco Sara Baras and Aditi Mangaldas company. (Yuka)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled 3000 km on a bicycle from sourthern most tip of india till Delhi. I was awestruck looking at the Hong kong skyline, the lenght of the Great wall, the structure of the Taj Mahal, vastness of Forbidden city and Meenakshi temple, Carved stones of angkor wat..etc n lot more. (Sunil)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can professionaly teach Project Management,Six Sigma, 7 habits of highley effective people, Basics of Supply Chain Management, English

I would love to learn Arabic, Russian, Classical Violin (Sunil)

I can teach Japanese to all levels and all ages which was my profession. I can teach Japanese cooking as well.

I would love to learn again French, Spanish, Chinese and Cello. (Yuka)
