I grew up with two cultures because my father is indian and my mother is french. Maybe that's why I like so much to discover others cultures, to meet people and travel. I have a daughter, she's soon 7 years old and she's so cute! She likes play and the unicorns...of course!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like so much understand the culture(s) of a country, the way of life and I don't like so much "touristics trips", I prefer to feeling the soul of a city/ country and I think it goes through its inhabitants. And it can help us because I travel often alone with my daughter, just lend us a couch can help us discover even more the world !

BB King, Imany, Tracy Chapman, Etta James, Amy Whinouse, Sade, Lou Reed, Sting, Selah Sue, Gary BB Colememan, Norah Jones and more and more!!! I like so much to listen music, specially jazz, soul, blues, rthm and blues but also pop, classical, rock, rap...
Movies...Hitchcock, Woody Allen, Scorsese, Clint Eastwood... Books...a lot, ok, mostly about psychology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were sitting in a village with my daughter and some people talk to us. It was our first or second trip both. One of them help my child to put a scarf on her head to protect her from the sun. We stay together one hour, talking and laughing and we go to visit the city. Later we met him again, I ask to him a good address to eat. He says my aunt cooks very good food. I laugh again and say no I ask for a restaurant!
One hour later I eat the best tajine of my life, two days later we were invited at their friend's wedding, four days later we slept in their house and I buy chicken and vegetables for cooking indian dishes for all the family,...so many hours with his aunt cooking together not to speak the same langage but heart's langage is universel! Three days later we go together and another friend in a road trip during 4 days, when we come back I cry a lot and her aunt too because we must go back. Last year we go back in his country and we have done another road trip together. It was so fun! He is going to get married next year and we will see all the family. We are so happy, it's like our family! It's crazy! Just because we met in the street, because I was touched by his generosity and I decide to give my confidence, so many beautiful time shared!!!
