If i had unlimited cash I'd buy airline tickets. I like things but don't want or need them, prefer new experiences and great conversations with strangers. I prefer to be outside if it's sunny, dancing if there's music and fully engaged no matter what.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch situation is not very good at the moment unless you're four feet tall. I would be very happy to share my town with travelers by coffee/beer drinking, hiking, biking and offering suggestions for must-not-miss fun stuff in Austin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

brand new to "couch surfing" but tend to make life-long friends whenever I travel. Just became FB friends with a guy I met once in Greece in '83!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

travel allows for amazement but it often comes in small ways like sailing into a cove in Turkey and smelling the pine trees before you even anchor, looking at constellations in Greece and remembering that 'wow, they named them here, the same stars looking just like this, thousands of years ago!'

I've taken a course in Wildlife Rescue. I can dance c&w,salsa,swing. Imaginative healthy vegetarian cook, solver of three dimensional problems, can always make a tool out of something, certified fitness instructor for 20 years. Very good amateur psychoanalyst.
