My name is Sunmin(the pronouciation is seon min, but i love the sun in the sky so i use sunmin), and i 'm a Korean girl.

I'm a writer and a photographer. So i love travel, meet new people, learn new things, take a photo which can stop the time forever, write something in quite cafe, read some books and engage in free debate about any subject.

I prefer desire faithful life. So i think the best way to live is act as my pleases. and i also respect anybody's pleases.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My dream is built a school in the place where there are not enough education facilities and human resources. I think that education have to be given to children regardless of their money, country, and their ideology.

In fact, korea is enthusiastic in education, but i think this make children's mind ill. cause there are so many exam, unfortunately almost exam is only an objective test. that is to say current system encourages learning by rote, giving no room for students to expand their thoughts, no chance to think about their life and their happiness. Surprisingly, there are 1.5 suicide students(average) in korea cause of Study stress. so I'm eager to change this system. and i think i'm also victim of this system cause i spent 19years under korea's education. today, some people are concerned about this problem, and i'm also one of them.

so i want to travel around the world, and listen the people's thinking about the education. I believe that dialogue about your country's education and your faith of education can expand my thoughts. also they'll give me some alternatives. After 30 years, i'll finally built the ideal school in the place where there are not enough education facilities and human resources. That's my big dream, and travel is the one of the way i realize my dream.

I love Zorba the greek(Kazantzakis, Nikos). zorba's life style and his philosophy about life are so attractive.
in my adolescent period, i'm impressed in the Catcher in the Rye(J.D.salinger). i learn the deviation in that book.
I also love The stranger(Albert Camus). in same context i want to study existentialism.
