ABOUT ME

I worked for an airline for almost 20 years and I did A LOT of traveling in the US. I crave to travel the globe and finding CS was a dream come true. This gives me the courage to travel alone. I spent over 10 weeks in Europe in the summer of 08 and it was the time of my life!

Last year I settled in Costa Rica for 6 months. It was an amazing and life changing trip. I loved living there and long to go back!

Back in the Valley of the Sun! I do so love living here, and am surrounded by family, friends, laughter and fun.

PHILOSOPHY

I am exactly who I am...I am all about full disclosure. I like to think it promotes others around me to do the same. I love to hear your stories, and I love to tell mine. Life is an amazing journey and I thrive off life stories...how different all our journeys are. Honesty, compassion, acceptance and kindness go a long way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Everyone I have met has been awesome. In fact, I have developed some amazing friendships in such a short time. I feel privileged to be a part of the couch surfing experience. I am beginning my "nomadic" adventures and hope to be more deeply involved with the CS community along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting has been both a unique experience and wonderful pleasure. I loved hosting in Phoenix...and all of my surfers have been fantastic. Surfing Europe last summer was everything I thought it could be and more. I don't know what I would do without CS. I have the money to travel, but if I was staying in hostels or hotels I would miss out on hanging with some of the most interesting and beautiful people.

I LOVE MUSIC....from classical to metal to country to jazz. Movies, I would say I am more of a sci-fi freak...Star Wars and Star Trek especially. Books, I have alot of mysteries and some horror, but mostly I have philosophical/inspirational books....Ram Dass, Deepak, Wayne Dyer, Dan Millman, Richard Bach and anything I can get my hands on that I can learn from. I write poetry when the mood strikes me.
