About Me

This is all very new to me. I heard about this app and my first initial thought was "Oh my gosh that's the best idea ever! I'm gonna do it." That was a year ago. I let the what ifs creep in. And the how will it work?

Now that I'm on here and read an amazing person's "to do, and not to do" guide, if you will. That fire lit inside me again. I've always wanted to travel. I love meeting new people. So this? Seems perfect to me.

I am the youngest of five. I have 1 brother (oldest) and three sisters. My oldest brother (Jon) and sister (Sarah) were born in Michigan, Casey was born in Oregon, Lisa was born in North Carolina and I was born in Mesa, Arizona. Most people stop me there and ask, "military?"
Nope. Just a dad and mom that had the road on their mind.
I went to 8 schools before the 4th grade. I was always the new kid. The one with the rat tail (I am a girl even though my name is Sunny) and bottle cap glasses and tamagotchi at her hip. Frankly, I didn't pay attention- to the teacher or learn a lot in school because I was too interested in learning how to talk to all of these new people and making my new found friends laugh in class. In 4th grade we were in good ole Wayne County, Kentucky- to stay. My mom asked what sport I wanted to play and I chose Football. You can find some embarrassing photos on my Instagram: misssunnybayne if you care to scroll back that far. So, I played football for 6 years. The only reason I quit playing football was because of a series of unfortunate events that put me in a wheelchair for about a month and a half- docs said it would be 6 months, I showed them ;)
I was in a wheel chair due to a really bad horse accident. Long story short he flipped over on me and broke my pelvic and tailbone, dislocated my right shoulder and tore all ligaments and tendons. After a flight to the hospital and a lot of morphine something in me shifted. All I wanted was to walk again. That was in 2006. A little over 10 years later and I love fitness and working out. I still think back to being in a wheelchair and I'm forever grateful for my ability to run.
I graduated high school in 2009 and went to Lindsey Wilson college for a total of 2 semesters and decided I wanted to move and went to eastern Kentucky university. I decided I didn't like that either and went to BCTC and finally got my degree in Equine Science.

This about me is to be continued...unfortunately I can't write more right now! :(
