About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Well.... I think my mission is,
to live everyday life with satisfactory feeling ?
(I'm still struggling to do this... :) )

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in making positive impacts to the world, for example social movement. I work for an Environmental NGO (as a paid job) because I'm really worried about the environment. But please don't get me wrong, if you have any stereotype of this kind of job.

Simply saying I'm interested in how to change the world, and at the same time how people(and I) can be happy as an individual.

I'm a calm, introvert, thoughtful person.
Prefer to spend time more calm and quiet places.

I love many things like others, and hate things like others.
But if I specify :

love :
The feeling that I'm loved, feeling that I'm a good/valuable person
Kimchi
Good whether and atmosphere
Animal
Study English
Cleaning the house
Burnie Sanders
etc.

hate :
Lack of imagination
Discrimination
Greasy food
Donald Trump
Korean education system
etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Be myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel because I' d like to learn about the world. The best moments of my travel is either when I meet local people, or learn different culture and point of view, or encounter the natural beauty. CS is one of the best, and amazing way to meet local people! I love to be inspired by local people and culture. :-)

I couch surfed in Montreal, Canada. That was the first time and was amazing. I met many good people and inspired by their life! I hosted once and it was also a good experience. I really enjoy spending time with travelers.

astrology
four pillars and Eight characters (I Ching)
psychology

Music, Movies, and Books

movies : except for too scary or bloody movies.

music : except for heavy electronic music.

Most of my favorite books are on either psychology or Buddhism.
Recently, I read a book "Courage to be hated" by Ichiro Kishimi that I liked very much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stayed in a Buddhistic community for 100 days. It was one of the best moments in my life. I learned huge things there, like being in a moment happy, community life, living eco-friendly, Buddisitic culture, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about :
Korean culture/society/language/food/etc. , oriental medicine, enneagram (personality types), buddhism, and food and diet issues.

I can share : I can read your Tarot Cards (it's not just 'fortune telling', it's rather a 'fortune reading'). And these days I'm studying a little about the Four Pillars and Eight Characters (oriental astrology?). I'm only a beginner for it but want to share with you.
