CURRENT MISSION

Can I acheive world domination by lying on my bed and reading books? Of course, I will venture out to travel and see the world. How else will I know what I will be dominating? If I can't achieve this, can I someone pay me tons of money just to read?

I am, therefore I think. And read. And write. And cook. And eat. (You don't really need to know everything else. I'd probably bore you to tears.)

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy? Live, laugh, and love... intelligently and passionately. Why do I live my life? I can't live anyone else's even if I wanted to. Feelings? Yes. Lots. To insanity and beyond. Thoughts? Yes. Too confusing to explain in one tiny space. Just be assured that I do have them. Common sense included.

I can't list them all. I won't ever end. Let me just start and end with Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and the BBC Movie of the same title with Colin Firth as Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy. The music of Dave Matthews, Sting, Led Zeppelin, U2, and The Beatles will do for now.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think it's pretty amazing for me to travel to places I've never been to but have only dreamed about... alone. It's fun to find myself accidentally-on-purpose lost in a strange (but magical) place. It's an adventure I will always recommend.

(Many people are still amazed that I enjoy traveling to different countries alone... or going on a surfing vacation in one of the Philippines' beautiful surf spots by myself... Try it! It's fun!)

Respect. It is the first step to understanding people of various cultures and backgrounds. It will bring you new friends and connections. It makes people want to be around you... to listen to what you have to say... to reciprocate in kind. Lose that and you lose a whole lot more than what you bargained for.
