Hi I am Sunny from Taiwan, I was working in performing arts, manage a small theater and produce production, my job is quite interesting. If you are interested in it, we can share about this.

My traveling style now is using workaway and couchsurfing at the same time, because I would like to learn more about farming, gardening, permaculture, building, wooding, fixing etc., more about nature to exchange accommodation and meals. Also, I would like to do some work everyday and then to discover the city or nature.

When I am free during my traveling, I would like to hiking, meditation, yoga, cooking, reading, discovering the local life and food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a full of love platform, hope everyone can maintain this system, to be a nice surfer/host.
It is a good way to meet different people, share everything, then you will have new ideas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From 2012 in USA with Taiwanese family.
2013, In Philippine, Manila, transit to Cambodia.
2014, travel in middle east, Turkey, Europe, Latin america. Almost all of this trip using couchsurfing!! I like it very much!

Hosting guests in Taipei from 2015-2020.
I am trying to be a host and surfer at the same numbers, because I want to pay it forward, to make this system well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling 18 countries for 6 months by couchsurfing, met many kinds of people, got many different thinking, and then made new, mix thinking for myself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook my hometown dishes for hosts, sharing the culture and history of Taiwan, traveling experience, practicing Mandarin with host, traveling tips, my time.

Playing or practicing badminton , do some sport together, like swimming, workout, jogging, yoga.

Do some house work. I am a cleaning and respectful person, i will do myself very clean after staying.

If I have time, I would like to show you night market near my flat, go mountain, have some Taiwanese food n the street or in restaurants.

If I dont have much time, i can offer you a place to sleep and hang out with you at home, I talk a lot.

If my mom cooked, you can eat dinner or lunch at home; if you like to cook, we can share our hometown's food, you cook for us, we cook for you.

I like to share culture, and culture is our life, everything.
