Overview
About Me
I've been working abroad in Asia (specifically Vietnam and South Korea) for the past 5 years and am looking for my next adventure. Not sure where it will take me but I still have so much of the world to travel!
In my free time, which has been a lot since I've taken the last 9 months off, I like to wander around new neighbourhoods, eat and try new things in general. In 2018 I've solo traveled, tried paragliding, surfing and scuba diving all for the first time.
I enjoy lively discussions and banter about anything and everything under the sun especially if it over a glass of wine. Book and podcast suggestions are always welcomed :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm always looking for new friends and couchsurfing seems like a great way to learn a new culture and see a new place as a local would.
Interests
I am a jack of all trades when it comes to interests but the above topics seem to be reoccuring in my recent discussions. I tend to get into hours long debates and back and forths with plenty of laughter in between.

- movies
- traveling

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything with a great beat or amazing lyrics. My music tastes are affected by those around me and as I travel, the songs I was listening to then tend to transport me back to those people and places.
Movies: I enjoy well crafted and thoughtful movies but sometimes, it is just fun to be along for the ride of a terrible movie and turn the brain off. My favourite movie is 12 Angry Men .
Books: I have always enjoyed fiction books more than non-fiction. I prefer my non-fiction in the form of podcast. I find it less boring cause it has a human touch.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Packed up everything in 2 suitcases and left for South Korea. The bags have shrunk but the travelling continues!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my culture, experience and information on the countries I have made a home. Seoul, Korea and Hanoi, Vietnam are amazing places to check out and I have all the insider knowledge of the best places to drink, eat and play.
I love to learn about almost anything. I say almost because as soon as someone starts talking about cars, my brain turns off. Other than that, I am up for anything!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, ideas and my company. I do also like to sing but have to be pretty comfortable with people before I do that.
