Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I want to make new friends that could show me the city in the most local way.

Interests

WATER! I love anything activity that has got to do with water. Be it under the water, on the surface or even frozen solid ice, I love them all. Especially going to the beach. I've been scuba diving, kayaking, swimming, and skating but I would love to learn how to surf.

Besides the water, I am also a wanderer, a big fan of going off the regular paths into uncharted grounds and finding new things. Learning new things and meeting new people from different walks of life excites me. I want to see the world and experience different sort of lifestyle. Never afraid to try out new things as long as you are willing to give me a chance.

Music, Movies, and Books

Because of my interest in arts and design, my favorite films are usually animated films and fantasy or anything with a good storyline. Some of my favorite filmmakers and animators are Christopher Nolan, Miyazaki Hayao, and Pixar.

As for music, I love a good beat and meaningful lyrics. Some of th artists I am currently listening to are Rammstein, Sekai no owari, Walk off the earth, Ed Sheeran and Owlcity. I really love music that brings up the mood.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English, Chinese and basic conversational Japanese. Besides these languages, I am also learning Spanish! so if you speak Japanese or Spanish, please practice with me! I can teach you Chinese and English in exchange!

I enjoy cooking and learning new recipes from hosts that I stayed with before. So I can share a recipe or two with you!
