关于我
I am Suno, a person who loves nature and is keen to try various activities. I like to travel in a way that is closest to local life.
For me, the meaning and value of travel lies in the interaction and conversation with local people, which allows me to truly experience each different culture and understand their real experiences and feelings instead of taking pictures and checking in at tourist attractions.
I have loved outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, river tracing, and diving since I was a child.
In the pure nature, I can always feel that "I am back home".
I also enjoy playing with children and pets, although I am prone to pet hair allergies.
I have over five years of experience leading outdoor education programs for children and youth with special needs. I will use diverse outdoor project challenges to guide them to learn teamwork, communication and coordination, problem solving, and the cultivation of personal independent living and self-care abilities. Course types range from one-day courses to month-long adventure therapy sessions.
When I was 20 years old, I interned at Clubmed International Resort in Mauritius for half a year. This is my first time living and working alone for a long time abroad.
That experience was a very important chapter in my life and opened up a broader perspective for me.
At the beginning of 2023, I went to Japan alone for a work exchange at a family B&B near the Sapporo Ski Resort. During that time, I lived with the Japanese B&B owner and his family. We all ate traditional Japanese home-cooked food, and I also experienced the significance of hot spring culture in Japan during that trip. This made a deep impression on me.
In 2024, my partner and I will start a working holiday in Australia. We are very much looking forward to meeting more friends and experiencing more of the unique local culture through Couchsurfing.

About my partner Peggy
She worked as a teacher in a rural primary school for two years. After completing her teaching career, she went on to pursue a master's degree in counseling psychology.
She had just completed her master's degree and professional internship as a counseling psychologist, and soon after, she became a full-fledged counselor.
We all have professional training and work as teaching assistants, and while our work gives us a clear understanding of how dark society can be, we also know that we are equipped enough to recognize and respond to these eventualities.
Through growth at work and our innate personal traits, we are empathetic and open-minded ,and we always choose to believe in the law of attraction, and also believe kindness is a powerful magnet, attracting the same qualities around us.
We are not party animal , and we never smoke.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
My first couchsurfing experience happened while I was walking solo around Taiwan.
On that trip, I carried all the gear on my back because I had just graduated from college and didn’t really have enough money to travel long distances , so I wanted to try if it is possible to complete this trip with the least amount of money.
I would say this was definitely one of the most challenging decisions I have ever made, and because of that, it just provided space for magic can happen and made my trip a more diverse experience.🥳
During this trip I met many new people through couchsurfing. Under the guidance of the host, I also had the opportunity to see some beautiful scenery that only locals know, and taste the local life and local food.
After this amazing journey, I also became a Hosts and hosted some travelers, but I always used FB as a platform.
This is my first time to register as a Couch Surfing member , because I will start my working holiday journey in Australia with my partner.

音乐、电影和书籍
My favorite books are "The Little Prince" and "The Alchemist" , and the book that moved me most when I was a child and thus had a huge impact on my life was "Nobody’s Child"
I prefer soft music and independent music , and I avoid to listening metal or other loud music because it will makes me feel uncomfortable. Of course, it’s okay to be there and listen at rare and important celebrations.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I think this was definitely my experience interning in Mauritius.
I grew up in poverty, so I never had the opportunity to go abroad, especially to a place so far away from Taiwan. I had the opportunity to start this journey is because of a government overseas internship scholarship during my college.
I had to fly alone, sleep at the airport late at night, then transfer to another plane by myself, and finally arrive at the local area. This was a huge challenge for me who could't speak English and had never taken a plane before.
When I first entered the workforce, I experienced a long and huge culture shock.
I had to deal with racism and discrimination against sexual and gender diversity in my work team because the locals didn't speak English, so I had to figure out how to quickly learn the local language in order to communicate with them, which was a huge challenge for me It's a challenge.
But it was also during this period that I grew up a lot. I broke free from the shackles of Eastern culture and education, learned to work hard to express my needs, and defended my rights clearly and bravely. I also gained some experience in the process. The care, warmth, kindness and support of the many guests at the resort who come from all over the world.
It was the most uncomfortable time I have ever experienced in my adult life, but it was also the time when I grew the most and fastest.
Looking back now, I am very grateful for my bravery at that time and all the efforts and progress after that. For me, it was really the biggest challenge I have ever chosen.
教,学,和分享
We can teach you how to write Traditional Chinese, how to make Taiwanese food, and anything else you want to learn that we know how to do.
We hope to increase our language skills through lots of daily conversations with native speakers. Currently our English is not very fluent and correct. We are also very interested in the culture and life experiences of different countries and want to learn and experience everything, especially outdoor activities.
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
We can share our amazing travel, work and life stories , and if possible, we would also like to cook a Taiwanese dish for you.
