About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to be as happy as humanly possible. I am currently working on finding the best possible route to that happiness.
ABOUT ME
I am me and not yet quite sure what that means...I like to think that I am happy and live in the moment, but I guess that still doesn't say that much about me...um, I like to travel and I am open minded. I am from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA and while I am proud of my roots and am even prouder to not be a superfical "LA girl."
PHILOSOPHY
Be happy. I do whatever I can to make other people happy and through that process I generally end up happy myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One couchsurfer (you know who you are) described the relationships you have through couchsurfing as "single-serving friendships" (a ref. to Fight Club, which is right on the money). You get to meet somebody new with the knowledge that your friendship will probably not extend for more than a few days. Each person pours out his souls, goes on awesome adventures, and parts ways before he has enough time to realize that the other person is less than perfect. Its intensely awesome and then its over.
Interests
good conversation, good wine, dive bars, darts, board games, cooking, mellow hiking, yoga, hot tubs, sleeping late into the afternoon, painting, thinking, long road trips, travelling...I'm pretty much down for anything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll start with books because that says the most about me: Island my Aldous Huxley, The Little Prince, Of Mice and Men, Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin, and anything by John Irving or David Sedaris. Music: Kosheen, Poe, the Beatles (White Album), Sarah Mclaughlin, Mazzy Star, the Doors, Sinead O'Connor, and more Folk and Rock music from the 1960's than I can list. Movies... I am too easily entertained and emotionally moved by movies to be a good judge...I seem to like everything...some of my favorites are American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Last Unicorn, Best in Show, and Being John Malcovich.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I watched the sunrise over the Grand Canyon while a Native American woman chanted in the background.
