About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeing all of the couches of the world!

ABOUT ME

HEY! Are you reading this? So am I. Now that I got your attention, I'll talk about myself. I love to eat, cook, and do crafts. I also loveeee upcycling so if you have something that's broken and unusable, I'll grab some glue and string to make something new. Seriously, if you put me in a room full of yarn, I'll never get bored. I also like to grow herbs and study medicinal properties of plants.

I also like writing rhyming poems for AIM away messages but ever since they upgraded, they took that away :(.

PHILOSOPHY

Bullshit: something you don't wanna hear nor something you want to step on.

Learn to live with what you have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

'Cuz I'm a rebel, I'm going to list this not in the order CS tells me to:

Stories from my childhood: Hatchet, Cloudy with a Chance with Meatballs, Island of the Blue Dolphins

Recently: Tales of Earthsea, What We Leave Behind, Michael Pollan books

Music: I always fall back to Baroque period music, power metal and electronica. Maybe not at the same time :) but I do like all genres. Also a big old-school Snoop Dogg fan.

Movies: Big Fish, Moulin Rouge (LOL I love Ewan), Memento, The Matrix, Ratatouille, Anastasia, Chocolat, Paprika, George of the Jungle (cheesy but a goodie), Amelie, Shaun of the Dead, District 9

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed up a very steep Buddhist temple in Korea when I returned at 2009. It was really tough for me at the time since I was really out of shape. When I got to the top, the view was amazing. I don't remember the last time I saw so much green.

Teach, Learn, Share

Bring plastic bags, they are indispensable. You can put dirty clothes, wet items etc. in them worry-free. Please reuse them for the sake of being green :).

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, South Korea, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In
