ABOUT ME
I’m Iris 29, Economics Professor and live in New Jersey, USA
I am passionate about food. I love home cooking and pastries. I am working on my own skills in the kitchen and could always use some new ideas. I look forward to tasting new spices or taking home a recipe.
I have had experience working as a swim instructor, life guard, teacher, and event decorator. I volunteer with a community activist group aimed at helping low income people receive government assistance to keep their housing.
I am extremely adventurous, outgoing, and inquisitive. I love to travel, meet new people, and step out of my comfort zone. While i enjoy my occasional alone time, I love the company of others. I am intrigued by accents and can listen for hours. I love a good debate, and don’t mind being told when I’m wrong. I love to read and appreciate any books passed my way. I can spend weekends locked in the house watching movies or sleeping in, at the same time I do enjoy the occasional party.
My most recent trip was to Liberia, Africa where I taught English at a rural University for a few months. I believe traveling is best when I can mingle with the locals. A day is so much more enjoyable when I can make a new friend, meet their friends and family, or be invited over for dinner.
PHILOSOPHY
I am extremely open-minded and welcome new experience, cultures, and lifestyles.
