ABOUT ME

Hey guys, my name is Evan and I'm here on couchsurfing in ottawa for a pretty specific purpose. We came here to protest the current government over many injustices, but we basically have come to see that we could very well achieve the right to sleep outside without fear of police harassment/attempts to violate our rights, both civil and international human rights. We're all here peacefully applying our rights, and we've been hunted by the NCC, the RCMP and the OPD, who all have officers on standby just for us! It's mad! So this is where all you Lovers come in! We're in great need of places to take refuge when rain forces us to pitch tents which are harder to hide(a backyard for tents is great!), places to shower occasionally and space to cook and create posters/banners to show people what we're doing!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point we don't have our own place yet, though we both have had places where we lived that we let people surf.

We are traveling for a short time, so at the moment we shall surf!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about the revolution from my good friends Scott and Kyle who let me crash there before I knew people did this. I met them on a 180 km longboard trek through BC to raise money for breast cancer research. Everyone crashes at a friend's house now and then, I've let people crash on my couches, etc etc. but this site brings exotic couchsurfers from other countries (i've met german, australian, canadian, american).
