About Me

I am a certified travel addict. I can be fresh off of a vacation and still have that insatiable itch! My top goal in life is to attain "endless travel." I love to learn about and share culture - especially through food.

I have a very easy going vibe, and I'm unequivocally accepting of all walks of life. It is our differences that makes this blue dot in the cosmos so interesting. I love to share what has made me the man I am, and I am eager to learn how you became you.

I have been to many places in the world, and I have many more to go. I travel with buddies sometimes, but my favorite way to go is solo-dolo. This style of travel helps me to make new friends around the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel and meeting people from foreign cultures is what will save this world. I am driven to sculpt my life such that my travel never ends. Hotels are great, but immersion with locals is the best.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love hip-hop, EDM, Jazz, and Classical genres. If you need that heat, say no more fam. My playlists pack that FIRE!

Movies: City of God and Interstellar. These are two of the best movies ever created.

Books: The Power of Now by Ekhart Tolle. Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism by Chögyam Trungpa. As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner. I'm a nerd for business management books as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My contribution to the traveling community: I work in aerospace/aviation, and I am an expert problem solver. The challenges I overcome everyday helps us ALL to fly around the world reliably and safely!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a very talented cook! I specialize in cooking techniques that bring the very best out of ingredients. It's not uncommon that I start preparing a meal three days before dinner time! I am experienced in cooking cuisines from all over the world, but my heart is in French and Creole food.

I am a life-hacker focused on staying present. I can teach you strategies to live purely in the moment - NOW.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am passionate about finding the best of things - food, experiences, gadgets, hacks. Over the years my list of recommendations has become STRONG. If you're in LA, I got you! From 5-star to unforgettable hole-in-the walls, I can tell you the best places to eat. I can also tell you where to find the most epic scenery and secret spots around the city to get outdoors and appreciate nature. Trying to get in a few hikes while you're out here? I can show you the best trails for any fitness/adventure level.
