About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Save the world!

ABOUT ME

Always ready for new adventures and challenges. I love to meet new people, gain new experiences and enjoy the little things in life.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to enjoy every minute of my life and live my dream ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first experience with Couchsurfing was back in 2011 when I was doing a voluntary year in Ukraine - me and my flatmates hosted and surfed a lot and it was always wonderful!
Back in Germany and unfortunately, I haven't hosted anyone in quite a while: So, if anyone is interested in visiting me in Jena, come and visit! I have usually some free hours during the day (and night) to go for a walk, drink some coffee or beer or whatever you prefer and do whatever you're interested in :) And btw our couch is quite comfortable ;)
Right now I'm staying in Kraków for one semester and aren't allowed to host guests in my flat, but feel free to message me if you want to meet up and we can go for a good polish beer or really tasty Bigos :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just awesome experiences! It's great to meet people from all over the world, listen to their stories and adventures and to share mine.
In 2014 I wasn't able to couchsurf and I missed it so much: so watch out 2015, I have big plans :)

Interests

Where should I start? I love traveling, reading, spending quality time with my friends, have a beer now and then, learn new languages and about new cultures, meet people and go out on little adventures - but also relax with friends and enjoy some good movies or music.
And obviously eating food from all over the world ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Where shall I start, where shall I end... I'm in general open for a lot of stuff, it changes from mood to mood - don't hesitat to show me the stuff you like :)
A little sneak peak:
Music: Chrystal Fighters, Ben Howard, Fleet Foxes, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, Chrystal Castles, Katzenjammer, First Aid Kit, Bonaparte, Gogol Bordello, Parov Stelar, Shantel, Leningrad...
Movies: Amélie, Léon - The Professional, Requiem for a dream, Dead Poets Society, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (I prefer the old ones obviously), Everything is illuminated, Forrest Gump, The Truman Show...
Books: Everything Is Illuminated (laughed and cried like a baby), The Perfume, Much Ado About Nothing, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Picture Of Dorian Gray, A Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, Faust, The Neverending Story, Ich hab die Unschuld kotzen sehen, The Catcher in the Rye...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think my whole year in Ukraine is the most fantastic thing I've ever seen or done! The people I've met, the beauty I've seen and even the sad or depressing moments inspired me and changed me to the person I am right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mh, I can teach you some German if you like to and I can prepare a pretty famous lemony dessert :)
I want to learn new languages, try new food and also how to whistle with my fingers!
