About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Don't stop till you get enough!
ABOUT ME
Engineer by trade but although my life tends to become challenging at times, I never forget to have a good time.
I was born in Bosnia and have lived and traveled to several countries over the years. Europe is definitely my favorite place to visit and explore. I'm down for whatever and usually adhere to the open-table policy.
PHILOSOPHY
"If life gives you lemons, find someone to whom life gave vodka and have a party!"
"...daß diese Furcht zu irren schon der Irrtum selbst ist."
"Was du heut kannst entkorken, das verschiebe nicht auf morgen."
Reach for the stars, and if can't quite grab them and you fall, at least you'll fall on top of the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both hosted and couchsurfed. CouchSurfing is such a great concept and it really helps people not only travel on a budget, but also allows you to make friends and connections all over the world that in many cases stay with you for the rest of your life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was in Frankfurt where I was supposed to crash the couch of this cool cat named Alex. We met up and he showed me around the city and of course we enjoyed some amazing German beers. Probably with less than an hour before the last train left to take us to his house, we decided to drink a Maß (1L) of delicious wheat beer. Unfortunately, we missed the train and we had no money for a taxi so we ended up sleeping on the cold concrete of the train station for a few hours. Although I didn't get to crash his couch, I still greatly enjoyed the whole experience of meeting up and hope to share it with more people soon...except you won't have to crash on concrete :)
