Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish the dissertation--but enjoy my time along the way!
ABOUT ME
I'm an anthropologist, so I love people and I love travel. I'm currently writing my dissertation, so I get to travel less often than I like, so I'll let the travelers come to me!
I also recently became the legal guardian of my two younger brothers, who are half-american half-greek. That has been a whole different kind of adventure!
Also I'm a total homo, so I'd prefer to host or stay with gay friendly people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host a bi-weekly couchsurfing polka dance.
ok, not really, but someone should get on that.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been letting people crash on my couch for years. (In fact I have one person living in my office now who's been here for 3 months!) And I have certainly stayed on my fair share of couches in my travels--But I am new to doing it via CouchSurfing.org and I'm excited in the way I suppose you are when you try online dating. You know it works for some people, but will it work for me?
Interests
I'm learning (very slowly) to play the viola. I'm learning French and Thai. I make cheese sometimes. I go to Burning Man. I do lots of yoga. I like to sew. And cook. And eat. And go on adventures. And look at art. And read. And write.
