About Me

CURRENT MISSION

NOTE: CURRENTLY LIVING ABROAD, SO I WON'T BE ABLE TO HONOR ANY CS REQUESTS AT THE MOMENT.

Meeting as many interesting, like-minded people along my journey as possible. Actualizing my world citizenship one step at a time.

ABOUT ME

Writer/ artist/ singer-songwriter living in New York City. My life's passion can be summed up in three words: I LOVE MUSIC! I worked at both major and independent record labels and have been a music journalist for the past 8 years. Finished a two month stint in Brazil in late 2013 (and again in 2014) where I traveled to various cities along the coast. Life-changing experience. You can read about part of my experience here:

Since 2009, I have embarked on a variety of photo-based art projects. One of them was recently on exhibit at the Brooklyn Historical Society and was praised by the likes of esteemed scholar/ documentarian Dr. Henry Louis Gates and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor! Read and listen to NPR's feature story on my project here:

In addition, I'm a teaching artist with a youth arts non-profit organization and am certified to teach English. Currently bouncing around, so I'm not able to host. But I'm always open to meeting people with a good sense of humor and a zest for life! I'm very much into learning about new cultures and open to new life experiences! Feel free to contact me for more info!

PHILOSOPHY

The world is so vast and rife with experiences. Why stay confined to one corner of it? It is my personal objective to expand my cultural and social horizons and gain a better understanding of the world we live in.
