Well, lets see. I'm Sam, Born and raised in Hollywood. Some of my biggest passions are nature, traveling, and bicycles. This is why I always travel on a bicycle. Not only do I get to pedal around the world, but i get to slow down and smell the flowers everywhere I go. I meet the most amazing hosts on the road, who seem to always understand the added stress of what traveling is when you're doing it solo on a bike. I'm also big into music -- I play instruments and love jamming, but I also happen to DJ house and techno music as a side hobby. All the rest you can learn by meeting me :]

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm home, if I have the time, I love meeting travelers in LA and showcasing the best parts of the city/nature that travelers would never find otherwise (still dont have a couch I can offer yet as I live with my parents)

I am glad to share amateur massage work with open and interested people.

I also surf when I go to new places when traveling. Currently, I'm on a 15,000 mile bicycle journey to circle the USA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used warmshowers (couchsurfing for touring cyclists) as much as I have couchsurfing. my experience with with both has been phenomenal. never absorbed culture and experience like I have with locals.... The love and connection which is sent and received is a gift and creates lasting friendships and memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bicycle 2000 miles from Seattle, Washington, USA to my home in Los Angeles. Now I'm on a 15,000 mile journey to circle the perimeter of the USA!
