ABOUT ME

--- a pretty laid back guy, schizophrenic with a handy hand of healing, cooking and photographic skill ---

I am a graduate student from School of Rural Public Health, Texas A&M Health Science Center University. My interest is learning about Health Policy and Management with a slightly focus on Hospital Administration. I also graduated from Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh, Indonesia with a medical doctor degree.

I spent almost half of my life in Indonesia. Having graduated from medical school, I worked as an ER doctor in one of private hospitals and in some of NGOs (IRC and CARE) in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Helping people and knowing people around the world are my true forte. I was also lucky able to survive during Tsunami disaster in Aceh, 2004. This is the point where I want to appreciate life and have a blast of it by exploring this beautiful earth. I arrived in USA in 2008 for a Master degree in MPH to improve my knowledge on this particular issue.

I am a pretty laid back guy. I love to laugh and throw a corny jokes. Most of my friends told me that I am pretty crazy in mind and I also realize that though I keep trying to act normal among people. I love to sing and want to be able to play guitar before I die. One of my skills that I'm really proud of is my cooking skill. I am proud that I can make a very delicious meal from a simple ingredients. I really wish that I can feed most of my friends in this world.

So far..I've fed almost 750 people or even more and I would like y'all let me feed you to add those numbers.

I am really proud of my country, Indonesia. One of heavens on earth. Blessed with many beautiful scenery, landscapes, smiley people, full of diversity and delicious foods. To invite and host friends from around the world to visit my country is my mission in this project.

Interests

I am really into photography. I just bought my second camera after I dropped my first camera in the ocean. It is like loosing my first love...I like taking picture of emotions especially people.

I like Outdoor Activities, I am more mountain person back home but I am more a beach person when I am in the USA. I don't know why.

I like eating In or Out, I really enjoy steak (I can kill for steak..lol..j/k). Playing Games, a crazy lead singer of rock band.

K'naan's Troubadour is one of my favorite album of all.

I really like Kite Runner book. I like John Grisham, Marry Higgins Clark, Agatha Cristie.

I rarely read biography book but Martin Luther King's book has stolen my heart.

My movie forte is movie that has a hidden or subtle message that u need to think to grasp it.
