About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Random and occasional travels :)

ABOUT ME

I´m a Spanish journalist who has lived the last seven years in China.

In september 2014, I decided to take a break from China and travel around Latin America. It was supposed to be a 3-4 months trip... and I ended up travelling for 14 months!!

Especially when I travel (but not only) I´m a very passionate person with a lot of energy. I do get very easily excited about many many things.

As a journalist, when I travel I can´t help but to have a political-economic-social perspective on the countries I visit. You have been warned!! (although in a very polite and respectful way, always)

I also try to combine some nature (mostly hiking) whenever I´m traveling. I´m also an avid eater that will try absolutely everything. Mostly I enjoy a good conversation around a coffee, tea, beer, baijiu, sake, soju...

I´m also quite a geek, very interested in technology (smartphones and Kindle are both good friends of mine :)

And I also love photography and video, always travel with my DSLR camera, tripod, filters and some other gadgets.

The only language I can be considered expert is Spanish, and sometimes I even have doubts about it :) :)

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life as much as possible as long as you don´t hurt anyone around you.

Don´t spend a second in something you don´t like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was couchsurfing in july 2007 in the south of France and it was so cool that couldn´t stop anymore.

I have received some CSs at my hometown, Gijon, in the north of Spain, and also in Beijing, China.

I´ve been couchsurfing in different countries in Europe, Asia and Latin American and never had a bad experience!

Interests

Meet nice people.

Enjoy a good meal.
