About Me

CURRENT MISSION

celebrating life every single moment. hedonism rocks;-)

ABOUT ME

Well, I'm addicted to coffee, don't take things too serious, more practical than aesthetical natured, although creativ and interested in useless things, enjoy life as it comes to me, sometimes restless, sometimes lazy, love dancing, reading, riding my bike....

PHILOSOPHY

to tinker at your life will make you creativ. to do it playfully will make you happy. (freely adapted on W. Eudenbach)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I became a member at Couchsurfing before my last holiday to England. Only one week after signing in my first guests came and it was a great experience (one year later one of the girls came to visit me again, now not as a couchsurfer anymore but as a friend!).

I do not host very often because I've got tired about all the copy-and-paste-requests you get every day when you are offering your couch in Berlin, so I changed my state for a while to "coffee or drink". But even during that time I had one or the other guest...

My surfingexperience until now is restricted to the englandtrip that I made with my good friend Melle. It was (and still is) fascinating, how fast your couchsurfing-network grows: we didn't need to ask a lot of real strangers, because the CS-guests that I had before gave us a lot of recommandations for couches:)

When I have guests I wanna find some time to show them around a bit or at least spend some time with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After signing up to CS it was only a week till I hosted my first couchsurfers. Lucky girl that I am I had the best start to CS I could imagine!!! Completely strangers when we met, friends when we separated again. Great experience:-)
Short while later I hosted some girls and than we spent a good time at a festival together.
With my friend I surfed two weeks several couches (and a bed and a floor) in England.
In May I had a longtime-surfer for two weeks and lately one of the festivalgirls from the year before came and with her a friend of them.

Interests

I enjoy riding my bike, reading books, listening and dancing to good music, meeting and visiting friends, travelling, good conversations and discussions, cooking and eating, going out to pubs and clubs, visiting festivals...

Music, Movies, and Books

movies by Wes Anderson, Jim Jarmush, Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch. I'm not too much in those hollywood-movies, I prefer good movies with a fine sense of humour.
i like all music that makes me enthusiastic. this could be some electronical stuff, punk or something classical, depends all on my mood and the circumstances.
love reading books, especially novels

Teach, Learn, Share

i like to share and show my favourite places in berlin, especially in kreuzberg. i would say that i'm a good cook, so i would enjoy cooking for or with others (all vegetarian stuff)
