NOT ACCEPTING REQUESTS FOR AUGUST

Hello!

I started using CS last year when I took a one year leave (no salary!) so I can achieve my dream of travelling for a long time. My trip started in July 2015 with Japan and Indonesia, brought me to the Middle East, Europe, Northern Africa and Southeastern Asia. I finished it all with a road trip to Kentucky, USA.

I am very proud that I had the guts to leave my house, job and friends behind to discover the world. This experience has been wonderful and I really want to do it again, but better this time. Probably with more Couchsurfing involved!

Now that the CS community has offered me so much, I can't wait to get to welcome people in my house and try to be as good a host as those that I found on my way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a culture freak. I love to learn about different ways of living. So, meeting people directly in their homes is the nicest way to do it.

I may ask you for a little help with the local language too, so I can say basic and important words.

I have more experience with CS than the number of references on this profile shows. I have CSed many times with my boyfriend through is profile, and a couple of people I individually stayed with forgot to add a review.

I haven't hosted a lot because my old apartment was not really adequate for it. Now that my sabbatical is almost over, I can't wait to give back what I got during my wonderful CS experiences!

Interests

I really am a travel freak : I can read tourism guides just like novels!
I absolutely love to hear about different cultures and even more to dip myself in them. I will love to share about any travelling or local experience.

Other then that, I like to talk about politics, social movements, environment. In my spare time, I like to read, watch gymnastics (I'm kind of a geek on that subject), do crosswords (in french only!) and play boardgames. I have many ones at home, if you like them I might just call some friends over for a nice evening! I also like to discover and enjoy craft beers and good wine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a very busy schedule when I am working and might not be able to hang around much. But if I can, I will be happy to show you around my town. I have much to discover myself!

I can offer you a pretty confortable futon in the living room. It is not really private (no door) and absolutely bright (curtains are white. .. bad choice!). I can lend you a face mask. You will be welcomed to make yourself at home and not ask for permission for everything, like if you can take a shower or a glass of water, or use the kitchen, etc. I find this more inconfortable than just having a guest who acts like a roommate. Of course don't be shy to ask for anything if you can't find something or whatever else. Just don't be so shy that I feel I need to always make sure you have filled all your needs ;)

I have a big lazy cat at home. She's kind of a princess and could either run away from you so you never see her, or sleep with you all night.
