About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Choose closeness over distance and question reality.

ABOUT ME

I am colorful, independent, and nerdy. I embrace independent thought. High fives are pretty rad too. My spirituality is defined by an amalgamation of human experience, nature, and music. I tend to view life as one big study in which I can test out and learn new things everyday. I appreciate creativity and laughter. Most importantly: I am committed to the revolution.

PHILOSOPHY

Thoughts become things; there are no mitigating factors, there are no exceptions--your thoughts account for every wonderful and "difficult" thing that's ever happened to you. In fact, your thoughts are the only reason that anything has ever happened, or not happened, in your life. -Mike Dooley

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was backpacking in Europe for three months, I couchsurfed about 50% of the time. I learned a lot through these experiences. When I met people for the first time, we both committed to a place of vulnerability, a place of heart opening, and much learning happened within this space. People who engage in couchsurfing generally have a sincere curiosity about themselves and the world, and I want to meet those people.

Interests

I enjoy not showering, not shaving, and not wearing underwear. :) I love exploring nature and people's inner dimensions (including my own). I try to ensure respect for my body, your body, and the environment.

Food is very important to me, as it literally becomes us, so exploring with all kinds of nutritious meals is a dominant part of my day. I love sharing meals and laughs. I am very intrigued about the way humans make sense of the world. The more I understand that, the more I can make sense of my own reality. I love talking to strangers, and I cherish human interaction because each relationship is filled with genuine enlightenment. I believe that personal experience is the most intimate method of learning, so I try to build awareness in the rhythm of movement. I love being outside, going for walks, taking care of my body, reading, biking, yoga-ing, and listening to music. Mostly what I'm doing in my life is diving into new challenges and trying to evolve. Breaking old patterns. Abandoning old structures. Living zen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Created my own path in life that is heartfelt and financially stable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am really good at making people laugh and giving off positive energy. I am in tune with other people's energies, sometimes even more than they are. I am good at paying attention to what the present moment calls for, even if that is recognizing what is going on inside me and verbalizing it. I am good at processing and paying attention to my experiences. I am good at reminding people (and myself) who they are, what's important, and what's valuable. I am good at avoiding consumption and pollution of the planet, my body, and your body. I am good at being. I am good at experimenting with the system. I am seriously good at food. I am an impeccable (not perfect) warrior when it comes to my self growth and self care. I am a music lover, so I thoroughly enjoy sharing and exploring new music whenever possible (especially live music!). Drum circle anyone? :)
