About Me

Easygoing, quiet, calm, cat lover, vegetarian, gluttonous/gourmand, dessert addict, native Californian currently living in 🇨🇴 after 5 years in Paris. I work remotely for a French tech startup. Also love aerial silks, yoga, ping pong and a little bit of acro.

I've now lived in 7 countries and hope to continue learning about people, culture, food, etc. I can be quiet at first or with new people but can also be quite talkative. Can go dancing all night but prefer chill nights with friends and meeting new people/hearing their stories. I love trying or eating anything new :D Prefer visiting local spots and not just touristy stuff. Especially eating authentic food. Spicy YUM. I like to drink hot water and am addicted to desserts (cheesecake, chocolate, ice cream, and anything creamy like éclairs).

PHILOSOPHY

God has blessed me so much and I am so happy to be alive. I want to travel to EVERY country and learn about others, culture, different perspectives, and really experience the world. I love adventure, trying new things, seeing new things.
* I think the earth is a beautiful place and we should respect it and live our lives in a way that is peaceful and loving.
* Never underestimate the impact one person can make!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and exchange with new people, learn about different cultures, to eat all the foods, see life from different perspectives and open my mind :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A roommate in LA in college told me about CS. Then at 18, I went to Thailand for 3 weeks to visit my stepmom's family and backpack on my own too, so I used CS for the first time and it was amazing! Despite his busy work schedule, Chiang Mai would not have been the same without Samart's help!
