About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to spend a few years living and working in Latin America, working on my languages and seeing as much of this part of the world as possible

ABOUT ME

I'm from London. After studying languages at university, I came out to Mexico to work as an ESL teacher. I've been here for four years but am getting ready to go back to the UK.I love big cities and I love living in the centre of one of the biggest on earth, but I also love the beach. I would love to live in a big city with beautiful beaches, but I'm working on it.I love animals, I like long bus journeys and take the bus over flying whenever possible, I love the ocean, I cycle everywhere if possible, I love going out to bars and drinking.I'm not sure what I want from life but right now I'm focusing on travelling and seeing the world, which is so far going quite well.I want to roadtrip from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego.

PHILOSOPHY

“Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.” — Lawrence M. Krauss

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet up with people in Mexico City, I'm happy to show you around places I love or discover new places with you! I've surfed couches in California, Ireland, and Veracruz...I'd like to surf more...and I occasionally host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some great people in Ireland, California and Mexico who I don't know what I would have done without on my travels! Hope I can repay the kindness when people visit Mexico City.
