About Me
Hi , I'm Imad, born in Germany, rooted in Syria, studied business, "loved it", continued following music and actually loved it and still do :) The album I've been working on for some years now has always made me think that I need to finish it first before I can travel but I feel like I want to reverse that and put new experiences and life into my art.
I am very easy to be with and I only have that one requirement to have a good time which is to be nice and that's it. Everything below that is unnecessary, everything above is luxury :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling has never been a big part in my life and I want to change that. I just feel I need to widen my horizon and get to know new people, thoughts and situations :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think it was in 2016 when a friend and I decided to follow the refugee route from Germany all the way back to Greece in order to visit the camps and document the situation. At one of our last stops in Greece we cam across a place in the city center where many refugees where spending night after night. Although it was hard to accept that we couldn't do much to help at that very spot we came across an independent organization which's only task was to feed the people on that place. We started talking to them and they told us that some of them actually left in the middle of their lives, studies and work because they knew it was the only right thing to do. The reason why I am sharing this is the instant connection we had with these people and the refugees. The instant understanding between people who experience or empathize with suffering was so intense that my respect and love for those people would go through the roof within moments. Beneath all of that bullshit situation which simply is the worst night mare, to feel and know those amazing souls put pure hope into me.
