About Me
Hi There. Im Suren and nice to meet you. Im a workaholic from Singapore looking to travel to many different countries to have adventures and to make sense of life:) Because of my intense work schedule, my leave and holidays are always limited so looking to get the best out of each trip.
Im easy going and able to adapt to different people and surrounding when I travel. Im totally not picky about anything and really prefer to go with the flow. Impromptu plans and activities are the best!:) I actually dislike doing touristy stuff and prefer to visit/watch/eat/do what the locals do. I feel the magic about travelling is not really to just see amazing sights but its really about experiencing the different lifestyles of the people living there.
When I was a student I used to love doing community work in different countries because thats the best way to experience the local community and its also nice to give back to the amazing people you meet along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always feel its much more fun living/getting to know a local then to stay on your own in a hotel. I usually travel alone and thus its a great way to meet friends. I also love sharing and hearing stories and love the fact that couch surfing is like a mini community where we can do that freely.

All my awesome travel/mountaineering/medical stories
Well Im privileged enough to be working as a doctor, so if you need a medical opinion on anything at all, Im happy to advise.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I usually always travel with with open heart and open mind and really want to learn more about the local's culture and day to day practice.
In return I will be happy to share all my stories as stated
And yes even though this is supposed to a free stay I always believe in giving at least a token of appreciation in the form of gifts or meals for the hosts.
