ABOUT ME
When talking about one's self, one may say things about one self that are not exactly true, as few people really understand themselves and don't want to openly admit certain bad things. I suppose you'll have to decide for yourself upon meeting me.
I travel like Bear Grylls !
You are a hardcore traveler with a stomach of steel, and you'll eat a grub out of a tree long before you are even hungry. You can't remember the last time you showered, but you still look good.
What type of traveler are you?
Take BootsnAll's Travel Quiz to find out.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Tarantino and Wes Anderson films (most of them), Korean films, Hong Kong films, and basically any film I consider to be "quality" rather than just another pop-corn, eye-catching flick, some personal favorites are 500 Days of Summer, Inglorious Basterds, Old Boy (a Korean film), Wolf of Wall Street, Time ( a Korean film), Neighbors, Moonrise Kingdom, Rushmore, Pulp Fiction, Infernal Affairs (HK), etc.
Books: Siddhartha, The Alchemist, A Song of Ice and Fire series, Harry Potter series, East of Eden, Lord of the Flies, The Fountainhead, The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, etc.
Music: In terms of bands....I like: The Smiths, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Belle and Sebastian, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Tool, Kings of Convenience, Incubus, The Doors, Guns N Roses, Nirvana , Rage Against the Machine, Queen, Pink Floyd and more...
Certain songs I like regardless of how I feel about the artists in question: Englishman in New York (certain cover versions), Hey there Deliliah, All Along the Watch Tower (Jimi Hendrix cover version), La vie en Rose (certain cover versions), Fly Me to the Moon (certain cover versions), The Kids Aren't Alright by the Offspring, How is the Air Up There by the La De Das, and more....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure if the following can rightfully be considered amazing, but here it goes:
-I had drunk snake blood in Hanoi, Vietnam.
-I slept in a friend's home in the slums of Beijing ( the other side that many foreigners, a.k.a. "non-Chinese" do not get to see, from what I've been told), where the migrant workers live, which shocked and appalled me beyong belief.
-I lived and got paid like a common Laotian person in Vientiane, Laos, for a month and a half. My neighbors were all Laotian, and my home was really a room smaller than my bed room back home. I've never been as frugal as I was at that point in my life.
- Met some of the most amazing people in the world while in Wuhan, China.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't teach any particular set of skills but I can certainly learn and share from others- what better way to reward me for my hospitality than to share knowledge that I can learn. The only thing I can possibly teach others is how to be a good host.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food. New music, movies, ideas....um....what else.....hahahaha!
