About Me
CURRENT MISSION
i run The Puzzlement Laboratory where we investigate how our differences can be invitations to community through hands-on, participatory Arts & Crafts projects.
ABOUT ME
i have an extraordinary and crazy life that i have worked hard to create.
Have been doing small and large personal art projects and crafting participatory community based Arts & Crafts projects.
The vehicle i am building is called The Puzzlement Laboratory!
Prefer the use of they/them/their pronouns.
My mother explained to me when i was quite young that
"Gender is a spectrum and that some people are uncomfortable with how they were gendered at birth. They try to change their bodies to better reflect how they feel but are usually disappointed because it is not just their bodies that need to change but society."
Yep! This was when i was 7 or 8 years old so i grew up with a very different sense of what is possible and challenging. Currently "spectrum" is the parlance within the transgender community.
The Body Is Drag For The Soul
PHILOSOPHY
i have really accepted that i can't do everything though i can live my life as intensely and as purposefully as possible and i can appreciate vicariously other people who do the same!
